Cho is 65 year old. She came to me in 2023, struggling with the pain of eating due to extensive tooth loss. Her long-term missing teeth had led to significant bone resorption, making her jawbone very thin and short, which also aged her appearance. After a thorough assessment of her oral and overall health, we developed a tailored treatment plan. We extracted the few remaining teeth on her upper arch, and placed five implants to secure a full denture.
Through over six months of dedicated effort and her full cooperation, we successfully completed the All-on-X implant procedure for her upper jaw just two days ago. We also expedited the creation of her temporary dentures, which she was able to wear smoothly starting yesterday.
The joy and satisfaction on her face now are truly rewarding. In six months, we’ll complete the full treatment process and fit her permanent, customized dentures. She’s eagerly anticipating this next step in her journey.
